The betrothal ceremony of actress Amala paul and Director A L Vijay happend on June 7 at Choondi Saint Jude Church. As per Christian tradition, the pair will exchanged the ring. This ceremony is a private event, which was attended by close relatives and friends of the couple. Next, for a grand function at CIAL Convention Centre, Nedumbassery, Mollywood stars have been invited.
Following the betrothal ceremony, a Rajasthani style sangeet ceremony is arranged for the same night.
The marriage is expected to happen in traditional Chettiyar style in Chennai. The engagement dress as well as the wedding dress has been decided by the actress. She will be in a white gown for the betrothal and will be wearing Kancheevaram sari for wedding.
Amala Paul has said that she would be giving more preference to her family after the wedding. The pretty actress said that earlier, her career was her priority. After Vijay came into her life, her priorities in life have changed.
